BDLA at GaLaBau
The bdla (Association of German Landscape Architects) has been represented at the GaLaBau trade fair since 2016. In Hall 3A, visitors once again have the opportunity to learn more about the profession of landscape architecture at the association’s stand.
The following highlights await you:
Continuing Education Event on Construction Technology
The bdla is offering a professional development event focusing on construction technology and construction management in open space planning.
Experts will share their experience on topics such as playground safety, the greening of urban infiltration swales, connections between outdoor spaces and buildings, and the promotion of biodiversity in residential areas. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in discussions with the speakers.
Exhibition “Naturally Female – female: of course”
As part of the nationwide Women in Architecture Festival 2025, bdla Thuringia presented the portrait series “NATURALLY FEMALE. female: of course”—a tribute to female landscape architects and their work.
The exhibition focuses on six women: their projects, their approaches, and their sources of inspiration. Personal interviews and sensitive photo shoots provide visitors at GaLaBau with an intimate insight into their professional achievements and creative processes.
Healthy through Landscape Architecture
Cities must become healthier. There is an urgent need for climate-adapted open spaces that inspire, promote well-being, and create meaningful connections between people, nature and the urban environment. The contributions of landscape architecture to well-being, public health, and social interaction are widely recognized.
Study Landscape Architecture – Become a Problem Solver
Studying landscape architecture does not mean choosing a niche profession. It means choosing one of the most versatile and impactful design professions of our time. Landscape architects create the places where the future happens.
The sessions are being held in German.
