BSFH - once again meeting point for play and exercise areas in Hall 1

All signs point to a green future at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre when the 26th edition of GaLaBau, the leading international trade fair for urban greenery and open spaces, takes place from 15 to 18 September 2026. Once again, the event will cover everything related to gardening and landscaping, as well as the maintenance and construction of sports fields, playgrounds and golf courses.

As one of the world’s leading trade fairs for the industry, GaLaBau covers the entire spectrum of the gardening and landscaping sector. Over four days, exhibitors and visitors will discuss the latest developments in the gardening and landscaping industry. Across 14 halls and all outdoor areas, a wide range of exhibitors – including loyal customers and numerous newcomers – will showcase their diverse specialist products and services and be on hand for professional discussions.

Playground facilities not only provide entertainment and fun, but also play an essential role in child development. They encourage physical activity, social interaction and imagination, whilst offering children a safe space to discover their abilities and develop their potential. In urban areas in particular, there is a need for sufficient numbers of such spaces with attractive facilities. Exhibitors at GaLaBau 2026 will address this important social issue in a variety of ways and provide information on the importance of playgrounds and physical activity in public spaces.

That is why the German Association of Playground Equipment and Leisure Facility Manufacturers (BSFH) will once again be the meeting point for play and activity spaces in Hall 1 during GaLaBau 2026. Together with the trade magazine Playground@Landscape, BSFH will be present at their own stand in Hall 1 (1-415) from 15 to 18 September 2026 and will be available to members and trade visitors alike. Furthermore, the two-day programme of lectures at the GaLaBau Landscape Talks forum will address current topics such as activity-friendly play area design, inclusion, sustainability and playground safety. The forum is jointly organised by the German Association of Playground Equipment and Leisure Facility Manufacturers (BSFH) and the trade magazine Playground@Landscape as their media partner.
